Commercial Roofing Contractor (“CRC,” “we,” “us”) is a roofing contractor operating from offices in Denver and Grand Junction, Colorado, and Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This policy covers yourcommercialroofer.com and the inspection requests, quote requests, and phone calls that start here. It does not cover anything you send us in person or through a third-party site such as Google or the Better Business Bureau, which have their own policies.
What we collect
Information you give us. Our inspection and contact forms ask for your first and last name, email address, phone number, the type of roofing work you need, and whatever you write in the message field. Nothing else on the form is required to reach us, and we do not ask for payment details, financial account numbers, or government identification anywhere on this website.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site or search that referred you. This comes from Google Analytics and from our hosting provider, and it is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful.
Live chat. Where a chat window is available on this site, whatever you type into it is sent to us and to the provider that operates the chat service on our behalf, along with the page you were on and standard technical data about your visit. Treat a chat the way you would treat an email to us: enough to describe your roof and reach you, and not payment or identification details, which we never ask for through this website.
Spam verification. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors apart from automated submissions. Verifying a submission sends your IP address to Cloudflare along with the verification token. We do this only to check the submission, and it is the reason a form can tell a person from a bot without asking you to identify traffic lights.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your inspection or quote request, and to schedule the visit.
- To document a roof and, where you ask us to, to support an insurance claim on your behalf.
- To follow up about work we have discussed, quoted, or completed.
- To keep records required for warranties, permits, and inspections.
- To understand which pages of this site are useful and which are not.
- To block automated form submissions.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make this site and our follow-up work function, and only for that purpose:
- Our customer management system. Form submissions are delivered into the system we use to track inspections and jobs, so the right person can call you back.
- Google Analytics. Aggregated usage measurement for the website.
- Cloudflare. Spam and bot verification on our forms, as described above.
- Our live chat provider. Where chat is offered, the provider operating it receives and stores the conversation so we can answer it and refer back to it later.
- Vercel. Website hosting and page performance measurement.
- Your insurance carrier, only at your direction. When you ask us to support a claim, we provide the documentation and photographs that claim requires. We do not contact your carrier about you unless you have asked us to.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage. A live chat window, where offered, sets its own cookies or browser storage so your conversation survives a page change. Our own code stores one item in your browser: a counter that limits how often an announcement message is shown to you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you using this site or contacting us, though some pages may behave differently.
Phone calls and text messages
When you call one of our offices or tap a phone number on this site, that call goes to us directly. If you give us your phone number on a form, you are agreeing that we may call or text you about your request. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and job records for as long as we have a working relationship with you and afterwards for as long as we need them for warranty, insurance, tax, and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained on the schedule set in Google Analytics.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email inspections@crcinbox.com or call any of our offices and tell us what you want done. We will not charge you for it and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, including the Colorado Privacy Act. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.
Children
This site is meant for property owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and verified before they reach us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we do not ask for sensitive financial or identity information through this website at all.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. This policy is effective as of August 2, 2026.
